If all you did was to keep your mind out of the past, and from needlessly and obsessively going into the future, you would have so much presence you might know what to do with it. Try it and then fill your mind constantly with gratitude.

Think of your mind as flexible and question the velocity and logic of your emotions. We've got to be willing to challenge everything we think and feel, and give these things our conscious seal of approval instead of just automatically trusting our reactions.

A complaining mind doesn't really care about what it complains about. It's a state of mind that can take over and end up overwhelming and undermining anything positive in your life. If we can see this we can let it go.

What if the mistake you thought you made, changed the timing enough of how things were happening that it actually saved your life or set into motion something fantastic that you won't be able to see until later?

Everytime you put your attention on what is wrong, you could have focused on what is right and felt grateful and content instead of annoyed.

We should be flattering each other constantly. Why not? We would all feel a lot better about ourselves and everyone else if we could do it.

Complaints are useless thoughts that make things wrong over and over again because we like being right. Being right isn't real happiness.

Take a step forward then let go of your agenda. Always come back to resting in the unknown of the present moment with unseen possibilities.

You can either believe your complaints and feel really victimized, or you can see that we've been brainwashed to complain and learn to stop. To stop complaining is to commit to your happiness.

Attitude is everything. If you check yours out and you're expecting bad things without even knowing it, refresh yourself with appreciation. We have to hit the reset button many times a day to stay awake and mindful.

If you can see a thought instead of just thinking it, then you can decide whether or not you should believe it or not. What your inner voice says and how it makes you feel could be total make believe and have nothing to do with the truth. Assumptions are tragic.

The wrath of our own self-blame is the biggest obstacle to our evolution. Realizing how much we blame ourselves is one of our biggest steps toward freedom. This culture has trained us to punish ourselves and it's time rise above it.

Let your stories about the future disappear and relax into the present. Most of the things that could go wrong will only happen in your mind.

Every act of kindness and generosity translates into a healing of your own heart and soul. You are the recipient of extending your heart and kindness towards others as much as those you help. Kindness and generosity take courage.

Once you break out of the spell of complaining the whole world lights up. There are so many amazing and wonderful parts of life happening in every moment, that I can't believe I spent most of my life focusing on what was wrong.

Assume you are partially deluded about everything and you will be a lot less deluded. It's also so much easier than trying to be right.

Is no complaints still possible? It's even more important than ever. Can we admit what is awful without making it worse by complaining? This is when the efforts we've made to stop complaining will serve us. We can now do our best, to stay as grateful as we can through this time.

If we really want to evolve and grow we have to pay attention to our inner conversation and heal the aggression that we have with ourselves. Total self-compassion and forgiveness are what empower us to make change.

You have a choice to waste your day by worrying about tomorrow, or to let your fears go and be grateful and present for today.
