🌳 Bile duct tree anatomy ✅ L hepatic duct: drains segments II, III, and IV ✅ R hep duct: Shorter and drains the right post. duct (VI/VII) and right ant.duct (V/VIII) ✅ Caudate lobe drainage: 78% of cases: Into the R and L hep. ducts, 15% left hepatic ductal system only.
