Make it back-to-back championships in the Class 5A javelin for KMC Athletics junior Sophia Gimino. She takes 1st place after her 5th throw and holds on for the 🥇 with a mark of 129-1.

And your KSHSAA 5A State Girls 100 yd Champion is…

Gotta love that feeling of looking up and seeing you just PR’ed to become a state champion. What a ride for KMC Athletics sprinting star Lillian Harris, who wins the Class 5A state title in the 100 in a season PR of 11.89.

Winning one state championship was so nice, KMC Athletics sprinter Lillian Harris decided to double up with her 2nd 🥇 of the day by taking home the Class 5A title in the girls 200 with a time of 26.14.
