E2H students are building theme statements based on their findings in The Odyssey. Next, they’re going to read a choice novel that exudes the same theme(s) and shows a modern take on the Hero’s Journey! #compareandcontrasttime

English 2 students pulled some theme statements out of The Paper Menagerie today! Now, it’s time to put all the skills together that we have worked on and analyze the final text of the unit tomorrow!

2nd PLACE TEAM FINISH and Another Record: ALL Lindbergh Team Members earned Top 15 Medals becoming members of the All-Conference Tournament Team!

E2H students were starting their poetry unit today discussing what poetry is and reading some poems about poetry (poetry-ception?) I can’t wait to see their collections start to take place tomorrow.

Today the English 2 students were working on organization within their writing and were asked “what type of dog is Maassen and why?” as a bellringer. The answers did not disappoint. 😂

Yasss, Rory! She’s such a great kid! I can’t wait to watch her hoop it up at my old stomping grounds!

WEATHER UPDATE: Due to inclement weather, all Lindbergh Schools will be closed on Tuesday, Jan. 16. This includes before-school activities, school-age Flyers Club and Lindbergh Early Childhood Education.

I got to celebrate Mia and Marie today at the Ace Assembly! What an awesome day to recognize so many amazing students at LHS.

Earlier this week the E2H students completed at Dystopian Lit intro activity! As the students begin reading their choice novels now, their true knowledge will shine when they get behind the pen and create their own dystopian society!
