We are pleased to announce that here at the Kernow Library of Things we are celebrating our first year of being up and running at the Gentlemen’s Hut in #Penryn! (1/7)

It’s been a strange year with false starts due to Covid but we've managed to establish ourselves, get stocked up with a wide range of items and validated our idea that if we opened a Library of Things here the people of #Penryn, #Falmouth and surrounding area would use us (2/7)

Every week we are increasing in popularity and adding new items to our extensive catalogue. We've managed this with a skeleton staff, just 4 main #volunteers, all with busy lives and limited time but equally driven by a vision of what we can achieve for our #community (3/7)

It’s been challenging and a lot of hard work but overall incredibly rewarding and we are so proud of what we have achieved so far (4/7)

A massive thank you to the many people who have helped us along our journey thus far, by signing up and using the library, helping us get the hut ready to use, donating things for us to lend out, donating to our #Crowdfunder or helping spread the word about us (5/7)

We look forward to using this next year to build upon what we have acheived so far. We have big plans as to what we want to do; opening in other locations, external storage for larger items and opening more regularly for the communities convenience (6/7)
