I am not even afraid to admit the Phillies being the first team to 20 wins will be my World Series this year.

*whispers* The Phillies have a better winning percentage than the Braves since July 15th of last year including playoffs

If the Braves are so good, why aren’t they as many games over .500 as they were at the end of last year??

I still think the Braves should be betting favorites to win the division. However, when I say that the Phillies have a chance to win the division- this Braves team can weather 100 storms and win 95 games. And these are those storms.

Braves fans a month ago were making a big stink about “strength of schedule” being why the Phillies had a lead in the division. Well, sometimes the world can have a sense of humor- Braves have lost ground while playing such a soft schedule they have now played the 3rd easiest.

Phillies are going to ride Schwarber Turner Harper Robert/Bellinger/etc Bohm Marsh JT Stott Castellanos into Atlanta in August and the Braves are going to think they have the advantage because they won 2/3 in March and against a lineup without half these guys.

In 2008, Obama and Biden ran against McCain. In 2012, Obama and Biden ran against Romney and Paul Ryan. In 2024, the Republican nominee thinks those past Republican nominees are RINOs and complain that Obama is controlling Biden. So, which party has shifted, exactly??
