MRCP part 2 results released earlier than expected - passed it 🎉

Spent my weekend decorating our bathroom but required some assistance from husband with wall fixings, who came in and immediately drew in the wrong place on my nice freshly painted wall 😠

Quality of IMT teaching so far has been much better than during FY - feels like the people teaching are actually interested in our education and understand what will be useful/relevant to us (even via Teams)

Been trying to sort something out with payroll for almost 3 months, emails to individual staff bounce to the generic inbox, which, having finally gotten through on the phone, they apparently can't answer because there's 3000 emails in it and nobody to sort through them 🤯

My dentist today asked me what I do for a living because my teeth looked ground like I have a stressful job 😬

Arranging for a tradesperson to come and quote for something and he says "I'll come round at dinner time tomorrow", so I think ok he's coming in the evening Turns out dinner time is at 1pm #thenorth

Lesson for today: don't expect to be able to try on clothes in a shop if you're own your own with a pram #tinycubicles #nobodyputsbabyinthehallway

Is it ok for 2 random men that I'm shut in a lift with to comment on whether or not I've "got my body back" after they ask how old the baby is? I think no #notok

Is it socially acceptable to take a baby to the cinema if I wanted to see a new film? Assuming that I would go in the daytime when it's less busy and theoretically I could feed him for the duration of the film to keep him quiet

Second August in a row and the second time since starting mat leave I've been underpaid - not like I have a mortgage and bills and nursery fees to pay 😫 Lead employer can't sort it because the relevant person "has been on annual leave so is very busy"

Not sure I'd recommend sitting PACES in the first cycle after mat leave with a 1 year old and a 2 year old - so thank goodness I passed it 🫠
