Upperclassman-Your job is to be a leader! Help the younger guys! Your role is NOT, I repeat NOT to be the cool guy that makes the underclassman's lives miserable. Represent yourself, your parents, your coaches, and your program the RIGHT WAY!

Players: You WILL fail. A lot. Don't get used to it, but don't allow it to ruin the next opportunity. You can get recruited off of how you fail. Coaches will have you for 4yr they want to see you fail & see who you are! How do you respond? Do you fold? Or do you adjust & compete?

You can’t be negative after making mistakes in games, but you can’t be indifferent either. Be motivated to correct your mistakes and play better, but stay calm and positive at the same time.

When you're part of a team, it's no longer about you. It's about the team. Don’t let your ego cause you to view every decision/interaction as being about you, your wants and needs and expectations. Align your vision with the team’s vision. Be about the team. Humility is the way.

As a captain, you are the heart and soul of your team. When your teammates are lacking motivation or confidence, you need to inspire them with your words and actions!

The best way to impress a coach is by being an unselfish team player. If you always put your team first, your coach will take notice and reward you!
