Like clockwork: 1. Curriculum adoption committee is formed 2. Zero "novice teachers" join 3. Vets select materials that work for them 4 District places novice teachers into high-needs schools (HNS) 5. Low literacy rates in HNS 6. Parents blamed 7. Equity slogans abound
