The Conservatives' treatment of unpaid carers is a scandal. For years, those dedicating themselves to family care have been taken for granted.

Ministers should support our invaluable carers, not treat them like criminals. It’s time they fixed the broken Carer's Allowance system.

Very disappointing that 187 Tory peers this afternoon stopped proposals from Sarah Olney and SalBrinton which would have given victims access to transcripts of sentencing remarks and judges' summaries free of charge.

This is an insult to victims.

Terrible news that five people have tragically lost their lives crossing the Channel this morning.

Tragedies like this show just how dangerous small boat crossings can be. Govt must re-create the safe & legal routes they closed.

The SNP have completely failed to fix our A&E departments.

Years of ministerial disinterest are coming home to roost and leaving A&E departments stuck in crisis.
