“When we want to believe something, we ask ourselves ‘Can I believe it?’ Then we search for supporting evidence. When we don’t want to believe something, we ask ourselves ‘Must I believe it?’ Then if we find a single reason to doubt the claim, we can dismiss it.”

At best, Gaza showed (actually confirmed) that Western Universalism is just verbalism for post-meeting speeches & commencement lectures. But it showed something more sinister: that the so-called moral values, in their very selective applications, are just tools for influence.

Entrepreneurship is a lot more moral, because without those who take the risk to start the businesses and pay taxes/ charity there would be no aid work. There’s nothing particularly noble about paid aid work. An obvious point in hindsight, learnt from Nassim Nicholas Taleb

We have 290 state Corporations only 80 are commercial ones. These are in addition to 49 state departments and 21 Ministries. The bloated government should transition to lean government and implement open governance

Birth Rate Collapse & Economic Utility of a Birth This is really weird, but I suspect it’s overlooked in socio-economic research literature. Below I present 2 zones on the same chart. The pink zone on the left chart shows the useful economic life of 1 human birth in the year
