It’s Saturday night, back home now after visiting a couple of my excellent local #pubs, with everyone safe & socially distanced. This is doing nothing to control Covid (indeed it’s making it worse) but along with other restrictions it’s destroying pubs & jobs #SaveOurPubs

Shutting down schools for 1 month wouldn’t harm a child’s education BUT closing their parents business down for 1 month could ruin that child’s way of living when their parents don’t have jobs or can’t pay bills... which is worse for a child? #lockdown #Parliament #BorisJohnson

Not sure £2k a month will save businesses it only saves jobs if they have an employer who hasn’t gone bust.

Open pubs=Safe socialising, improved mental health, rocketing economy, job security, Closed pubs=mass unemployment, lost pubs, Economic catastrophe. We need zero rates, vat reduction, extended furlough, minimal restrictions and we will lead us out of this #believeinhospitality
