It's been a good day UK Bus Awards today, meeting industry colleagues from across the country. Well done to all the winners, especially my old boss Peter Crichton who was recognised with a well deserved services to the bus industry award.
With all the messing about I do with buses, both for work and pleasure, it has been great fun playing with trains recently. I've been helping to build a narrow guage railway Trolleybus Museum at Sandtoft to add to their visitor attractions. Still more to do; if my body will allow it!

Had a long but enjoyable day helping out at this year's UK Bus Awards . It was great to see so many familiar faces, even better when they were collecting there well deserved awards.
Get ready - we’re coming to Glasgow for our next conference this 21/22 March. Speakers confirmed include Andrew Jarvis @FirstBusnews, Simone Smith Scottish Citylink & Fiona Doherty Stagecoach West Scot - and a visit to electric bus operations McGill's Buses. Bookings open soon!
What with my recent career move, it seems fitting that I helped to rebrand one of our vehicles last night to commemorate 50 years since our local authority took control of the regions bus services. Trolleybus Museum at Sandtoft
Had a busy weekend helping out Trolleybus Museum at Sandtoft. It seems that I can't stop working with yellow buses nowadays; even on my day off!
