Just found this clip BBC The One Show. Teachers like Mrs Strange, who recognised Hamza Yassin's amazing #DyslexicThinking skills, make a huge difference. My son has been transformed by support in school this year. bbc.co.uk/programmes/p0j… Dyslexia Scotland Made By Dyslexia

Take a nature break with this lovely story about the South of Scotland Golden Eagle Project by Hamza Yassin on the One Show from 18:20 into the programme. As always, Hamza's enthusiasm is infectious - we're out to spot some wildlife over the lunch hour! orlo.uk/1wZtH

Looks like another wild fire on The Pentlands. So sad to see these happening across Scotland, wreaking havoc on our precious flora and fauna, and putting pressure on Scottish Fire and Rescue Service.

Restoring Upland Nature (RUN) (formerly known as the South of Scotland Golden Eagle Project) has exciting plans to extend their work into northern England. Dr Cat Barlow is talking about this on BBC Breakfast this morning: bbc.co.uk/news/articles/… Iolo Williams Hamza Yassin

Saddened to hear about the passing of Sir Geoff Palmer. Scotland’s first Black professor, a humble activist, and campaigner for equality. He challenged how we talk about history and always pushed for understanding and education. A huge loss for all of us who were inspired by him.

Heartbreaking news. Sir Geoff Palmer was an innovator, educator & a tireless campaigner for justice & equality. He did all of this with such dignity, respect & a kind gentle nature. It was an absolute privilege to work with him on The Great Tapestry of Scotland. Thinking of all his loved ones.
