I enjoyed sharing findings from my dissertation data yesterday at #NRCEC! In this study, parents who reported more frequent home numeracy engagement also used more quantitative talk and a more diverse group of quantitative words during a wordless book reading with their child.

Excited to share work from the Urban Child Study Center with Gary and Meghan Dean! EF predicted arithmetic operations for preschoolers with higher vocabulary skills. Suggesting both language and EF demands of simple addition/subtraction.
