((OOC from Rouge Rogue, one of the co-runners of this account. Election season used to be exciting, but since Blaseball has come back it's kind of depressing. Ever since we were handed Wills, it feels that more often than not it's been used for people to be mean to each other.))

((Well, thanks to Roland, this season was the most fun I’ve had since season 7—until suddenly it was the worst one ever. Wills have changed this game into something very different from what I initially got invested in. I need a break to decide if this is still worth it.))

So, uh it turns out that a situation that heightened emotions so much that DISCUSSING IT WAS FORBIDDEN ON THE BLASEBALL DISCORD was responded to with "yeah, no, that's fine as is" I have, it may not surprise you to discover, some Thoughts (1/x)

And my father-in-law is as big a baseball fan as I know, and tried passing that along. And she watched, but the Pirates have been disappointing, and the stars she grew to appreciate left town for other teams. D'you know how she responded? She STOPPED WATCHING BASEBALL.

Turning on each other is inevitably going to burn out some of the most vital members of the community on all fronts. RPers, data wizards, artists, and more casual fans all deserve a seat at the table, and all are welcome here.)
