I got my first email client sending cold messages on LinkedIn. Manually connected with people. Sent them an "idea" for service I had. And got on a call with interested folks. You don't need crazy automations to land your first client. Stick to basics. Offer+outreach+close.

“QUALITY CONTENT IS ALL YOU NEED” Ultimately, yes. But it can be very slow because good content has become commoditised. Faster to build relationships with a few key people - these are the folks who are much more likely to support your content. Others will follow.

Life doesn't reject you, it redirects you.

Don’t edit immediately after you write. Let your brain reset and come at it with fresh eyeballs.

Ideas are a dime a dozen but the person who puts them into action is priceless. Just saying.

If you have hangups about doing business the online way - lose them. It’s costing you BIG TIME.

Most people don’t lack resources, they lack resourcefulness

After failing for years on LinkedIn….. I snaffled my first 7 clients from sending simple, non-offensive messages. Message: Be open to possibilities and if necessary - pivot.

My new strategy took 5 months to produce a client from LinkedIn. Then, it was quicker - 3 weeks for my 2nd client and so on. Message: When you know you have a winning method, blueprint it, then repeat. Again and again and again.

I failed with social media for 7 years. My blockage was simple: “Ï’m not social” The Message: If you have a blockage, deal with it, or continue to struggle.

My first 7 years on social media were abysmal - I made $2,000. Finally, I grew a brain and made $300k. The Message: If you have a blockage (I did), deal with it. Then you’ll never be tempted by shiny objects again.

Create your personal monopoly. Be known for 1-3 things. You cant be an expert at EVERYTHING.

Using exclamation marks on Twitter doesn’t give your message more impact. It devalues it.

If I read one more time that all you need to do is post great content on social, I’ll vomit.
