As #hurricaneseason approaches FAU I-SENSE provides advanced sensing technology to the South East Atlantic Econet, a network of 88 weather monitoring stations throughout Florida, Georgia, South Carolina and Puerto Rico that NOAA uses to increase the accuracy of weather forecasts

A team of I-SENSE faculty, engineers, graduate, and undergraduate students receive a patent for a hardware and software platform that will optimize energy use in low-power embedded systems.

Congratulations to I-SENSE Director Jason Hallstrom and to the other Florida Atlantic University researchers on being inducted into FAU's chapter of National Academy of Inventors!
