Our Primary One explorers had a fantastic time in the 'Blue Fingers' garden! They embarked on a minibeast hunt, discovering all the wonderful creatures. The children's smiles said it all as they spent time with friends, learning and having fun together. 🌼🔍🕷️

P6 and P7 had a lovely morning at Ballylintagh’s Bible Exhibition. They explored the fascinating history of the Bible and were introduced to many characters. Thank you to the leaders and to the ladies for giving us each a goodie bag. 😃

Primary 6 had a brilliant morning spending time with the residents of Killowen House for ‘Slip into your Slippers’ day for Age NI. We all got our slippers on and shared stories with one another ☺️ 💙❤️💙

There was no messing with these P6s today during their Viking Day! From, writing in runes, dramatising the story of Odin’s eye, designing shields to making and eating soda bread. These Viking rich literacy and numeracy activities made learning so much fun 🤩

Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas without carol singing! Our shared choir St. John’s P.S. Coleraine have been out and about in the community today bringing good tidings of great joy 🤩👏🎄🎅🎵

Our P3 historians have been taking a trip down Memory Lane. They have been asking very interesting questions to lead the direction of their learning! They are curious about their own histories and that of our local area. So much to learn 👏👏👏

We had great fun at our first P1 Well-being Parent Workshop! We used our Take 5 strategies to visit Winter Wonderland after loads of chat and of course we remembered to relax afterwards 💤😂

Den making, bug hunting and exercising were only a few of the P7 activities during their outdoor learning sessions with their friends from St John’s. We couldn’t live in a more enriching learning environment. P7 combined the forest with the beach #LivingAndLearningTogether 🌳🏝️

A fantastic evening where parents and children came together for our ‘Bring Your Grown Up’ numeracy sessions. Tonight was filled was great teamwork, where children and their parents worked together to answer questions and solve problems using Izak9. ➕➖🟰The first of 4 sessions!

P4 loved reading to and learning from the residents of Killowen House on World Book Day #WBD Wouldn’t you have loved to have been a fly on the wall listening to all those wonderful stories? 📚📕

What great listeners our younger children are! They thoroughly enjoyed the older children reading carefully chosen stories to them. There’s no better way to do it than learning together 💙💙

There were no complaints from P6 today when they were learning about the phases of the moon. I wonder if it had anything to do with the Oreos? 😂
