Cycling
There are multiple environmental and health benefits to cycling to school, but most importantly, cycling is one of the most efficient and rewarding ways to get to school. Cycling, as a mode of travel, is on the increase with more people choosing to cycle for shorter

The Green-Schools Travel programme aims to encourage more students to regularly cycle to school. To support this aim, these programmes focus on promoting the benefits of active travel, reducing the number of cars on campus, and promote sustainable travel.

The Green-Schools Committee have requested that you kindly take a few minutes to complete the survey, sent via email this week.

The aim is to gather information about how students travel to school, in the hope that sustainable alternatives can be put in place to make our campus more environmentally friendly.

In partnership with the National Transport Authority, this year Green-Schools will celebrate Bike Week from Saturday May 11th until Sunday the 19th. National COW Day (Cycle on Wednesdays/Weekdays) will be held on Wednesday May 15th.

Tickets for the TY musical “Sister Act” are selling well. There are some still available, but these will sell fast. Tickets are available through the school app, the Watergate website & will be sold during lunchtime in the Front Hall where card or cash will be accepted.

Tickets bought through the app or from the Front Hall do not have the booking fee that the theatre web site will have.

Swimming on Tuesday
Names must be given in advance to Mr. Farrelly in Room 5 on Red Square anytime up to Monday evening prior to departure each week.
Day students who intend participating in Extra-Curricular activities may also sign up for swimming as one of their options.
