Adult Volunteers from Kilkeel Sea cadets supported Kilkeel Development Association by delivering Hot food boxes to those people who are vulnerable in our community, 50 people benefiting from the #actofkindness.

Many thanks to NIFPO | N.Ireland Fish Producers Organisation for donating 5 litres of Antifoul to help with the refurbishing of our boats to get them ready for when the lockdown is over. The support from our community is essential in helping us give our young people the Sea Cadet experience.

Although we are in lockdown, our cadets are still getting the Sea Cadet experience through Virtual training. Catering qualifications, Campcraft, Marine engineering are only a few course that we are Virtually doing .

What a better way to end Volunteer week by thanking all of our Adult Volunteers who give up their own time to help the young people of our community in the greater Mourne area . Kilkeel and Mourne Sea cadets #OneFamily

Congratulations to two of our Sea cadets Cadet First Class Kirsty and Cadet Samantha who have just gained their Basic Cook / Steward qualifications after doing the National Sea cadet course. Well done girls, your certificates and badges will be presented ater lockdown.
