Villanova is bringing in its highest rated class this fall, highlighted by Berlin Brothersvalley senior Kiera Booth. Booth was named to the all-state team 3 times & finished her career with 2,226 kills, 614 digs & 290 aces. She earned 2018-19 Class A b-ball player of year honors

No. 19 Pitt swept Villanova, 25-6, 25-15, 25-19. Berlin Brothersvalley graduate Kiera Booth led Villanova with seven points and six kills, while tying for the team lead with two total blocks. Sunday was Booth’s second collegiate match.

Villanova defeated St. John’s in four sets. Berlin Brothersvalley graduate Kiera Booth produced career highs of 16.5 points, 11 kills (on 21 attacks), 10 total blocks and a .429 hitting percentage for Villanova (3-2). Fellow freshman Riley Homer produced 12 kills for Villanova.
