My most cynical opinion is that we don’t live in a world where people doing the hardest and most vital work get the most assistance. In fact quite the opposite. The more competent you seem, the less sympathy and help you get.

I root for villains more than heroes in stories. Heroes should win. Their ideas make the most sense. They fight for what’s right But watching a whole country come together to stop one person because they woke up and said who the fuck going to stop me 😂. Is diabolically fun.

Tim is making things in Brazil now 🇧🇷 I don’t think talking about how guys treat you poorly is high status, I think it’s quite low status actually. Biggest flex is never having had that problem.

Lack of success usually comes from not wanting to become isolated from the crowd. When you become successful family, friends, etc treat & see you differently. You can no longer relate to majority of people & this creates loneliness. Entrepreneurs will self sabotage just to fit in

The Climber A story of willing to die for a selfish goal Its depiction of anxiety as fighting against yourself and splitting in two I love the creepiness of it And wish to incorporate more visuals of how we perceive the world in my works Mix the fantastical with the real

The greatest stories have parallels between characters Between their ideals and even physical natures Their backstories And even how they develop, fall and rise Even characters all reaching for the same goal can parallel their struggles for it. Use the beauty of contrast

There’s only one way to select for integrity in the people around you: don’t assume anyone who makes you feel bad is a bad person, and anyone who makes you feel good is a good person

Sometimes you just gotta enjoy a show for what it is, it may not be the best written anime of all time but if you find stuff you like and enjoy about it then who cares
