She nodded and sat down too.

She hummed. "A guardian?" She's heard adults being called guardians sometimes at the orphanage. She's hiding a bit more behind the tree. "Why?" She asked, quietly.

She gasped as he picked her up. After inspecting a couple, she pointed at one of them. "This one."

She shook her head and then stared at his hat once more.

She blinked, confused. She had no idea. What did he mean wash the apple? Like... with soap? Could apples be washed and clean like she did?

She gasped and hid behind the tree, shaking a little. That scared her.

She then points at the hat. "Can I try it?"

She snapped out of it and reached up to be picked up again. "No, I'll eat it." She said softly.

She blinked and smiled a little. She didn't touch the hat, just seemingly happy to wear it. It was kinda... big for her head but, she was happy.

She peeked after he dissapeared and looked down. "Sorry..."

She sat down next to him and began eating the apple quietly, swinging from side to side, seemingly content.

Cue the small child wandering around, seemingly lost.

The small child is looking, half hiding from behind a tree, a little scared.

Rubs her eyes. She's tired...

She looks at the weapon, a little scared by it. And seeing him train was a little scary too. She was a bit intimidated, to say the least.

She slowly walked forward, looking at him with big eyes. "Are you lost?" She asked quietly.

She thought for a moment. She looked away, she didn't answer. "Training? Training for what?" She asked, not wanting to lie on the first question so she decided to ignore it instead.

She hummed, her eyes brightening for a second. She was in awe. "Protecting from what?" She asked, a little confused.

She flinched ever so slightly before the headpat with a frown before relaxing again. Not from fear of being hurt, but just being mocked for her green hair strands as she usually was. She looked away. "I don't wanna go back... It's no fun..."

She looked away. "The other kids don't like me." She was from an orphanage. "The tall people, like you, I don't think they like me very much. I'm always alone. I like the trees. Nature is nice. Nicer than there."
