You people underrate Korle Bu so much because it’s in our country, people come from Sierra Leone, Liberia, Ivory Coast, Togo and Burkina Faso to the Korle Bu you’re looking down on

I am old enough to remember when tap water in Ghana was so safe to drink that people bottled it and kept it in their fridges and some even sold it commercially in rubber bags. And now, same water is getting unsafe to cook with it. #StopGalamseyNow

We frame this thing as “No bed syndrome” and make it look as if it’s not a real thing and hospitals are making it up to be wicked. The healthcare system hasn’t expanded to accommodate the number of people in the country. There’s never space anywhere.

By this time some CEO give strict directive say make no Dr turn away patient for no bed They shd manage in the chair and on floors if they have to Knee jerk reactions They will never tackle the actual problem

“No bed syndrome” posts love blaming doctors (easy targets). Some ERs can’t even count on basic gauze being in stock. They’re underfunded and overstretched. Stop shooting the messenger. Hold the Health Ministry accountable. This is systemic failure and we’re all at risk.

Beds alone don’t save lives. Supplies, staff, funding, equipment, and clear policy do. Across all regions, our health system is stretched thin. This isn’t on frontline workers. It’s on leadership. The Health Ministry needs to take responsibility and fix it.
