Titanfall failed because it got overshadowed. HighGuard might fail because it got over-recognized. The timing and bad luck for these former respawn devs is crazy.

One of the things I find very interesting is that Manny Hagopian, one of the three original Apex lore writers, is excited to talk about Highgard. So there might actually be a story element inside the game kind of like early Apex, when there was an ongoing narrative every season.
