Forbes are taking the piss out of Google at this stage. If this were a smaller publisher would they deindex the whole site? They should do and it’s likely the only answer. But they won’t. Crazy times in Google land right now 😂

The mere fact that they even TRIED this should tell Google what kind of publication they are and result in an immediate and full ban if the entire domain. Again, it’s what they would do to Independent Publishers. If Google does it to them… they will deserve praise.

What if everyone just says that Valnet has been unfairly elevated in Google and in the process they have crushed independent sites? Do we all get sued?

Reviews about a business that are posted on that same business’s website are not helpful content. Consumers need honest, impartial reviews, yet Google is so obsessed with big brands that it automatically puts the brand’s site first.
