I’m a little perplexed about the “children are being murdered by illegal immigrants” line as a campaign angle for the Republicans. Because children are being murdered by other children (in their own schools). Is it okay when they’re American murderers?

Here’s the real reason Trump wants us to spend the week chasing rumors about people eating cats.

The part here that should be obvious is that “losing” every major institution and when it comes to public sentiment is because the voters are not supporting your policies or ideas. So what he is suggesting is that even though we have democratic processes, let’s throw those out.

We really need to stop sharing political messages that remove nuance from conversations. It promotes ignorance and almost always is intended to advance apathy and disengagement and ultimately leads to disenfranchisement.

What happens now? God help us.
