Prof. Stefan Rahmstorf 🌏 🦣 As a headline this appears to be good news, but in the context of Paris 1.5-2°C, we’re barely tinkering at the edges. Electricity represents under 20% of final energy consumption, the rest is almost all fossil fuels - & we’re still burning more coal, oil & gas year on year.
