Nothing like inflicting more transport poverty on the areas that need it most. Typically incoherent nonsense from a group that have zero interest in being in Government or acting responsibly. Pointless posturing again.

Labhair mé le Nuacht TG4 inniu - caithfimid cinntiú go dtógfar an t-ionad imeachtaí i gCorcaigh. We have to ensure the Cork Events Centre gets built - too much time has been wasted and like many projects it has run way over the initial costings.

Every school in #CorkCity should have received this booklet developed in close partnership with teachers, parents and #BEHAVI_AIR @MaricaCassarino. If you are a parent or a teacher and have not seen it - be sure to enquire with your School Principal irishexaminer.com/lifestyle/outd…

Loads of advantages to this technique not least on that it slows turning vehicles and means that wheelchair & buggie users can cross easily. Holds water better and no need to stand in ponds at the side of the road!

Active Travel: Labour is proposing a 5:1 spending ratio & safety initiatives, while the Soc Dems & Greens emphasize walking/cycling infrastructure FF supports local active travel & school safety while FG promotes bike sharing & student schemes. Sinn Fein has no mention of cycling

This accurately reflects US political opinion. Irish political parties need to stop raising expectations of endless windfalls + start preparing for the worst. When something is too good to last, it will eventually come to an end. The end of profit tax windfalls may be nigh.

This is a brilliantly conceived scheme that deserves a positive response! Best of luck to the residents, DouglasStreet and the officers of Cork City Council who've put a lot into this. Send a positive submission from tomorrow! echolive.ie/corknews/arid-…

This is 100% the case and a source of frustration to all who've put months & years into developing a scheme. Then people are mystified as to why the scheme didn't take place. Submit positively, early and often!
