Volunteer chickpeas in 2019 paddock - every plant inspected on Thu 7 May 2020, had Ascochyta. I found no Asco in the 2019 crop when checked Sep 2019. So, either undetectable incidence in Sep 2019 or pathogen has survived on chickP stubble from 2017 Crop, or both.
