This is a nice list to be on. You can, if you want, read my book before Michael's, but after is just fine!

Think about how unique a library is - you are allowed to borrow something, in this case a book, free of charge, simply on the promise that it will excite, inspire, restore, challenge, entertain and then be returned. Nothing else in the world operates on this principle!

I've never been to Elgin so it should be a good trip. Always delighted to visit somewhere new and talk books!

Lots of excited young readers and their parents ready to take up the challenge. How many, I wonder, will achieve the maximum of 40 books?! For some, just reading one or two will be a good job well done!
