Last week King Edward's School hosted a Study Day for Year 9 pupils from across the King Edward VI Foundation Birmingham as part of the Qur'an in the City project in collaboration with the Uni of Birmingham Culture Forward programme. 🤝 🕌 Pupils rotated around RS/Philosophy, History, and Art sessions. 💬 🎨
And filming has commenced! We’re so excited to welcome James Brindley Academy for the filming of their first ever cross-site production of Hansel & Gretel, which is due to be played to the whole school community in a showcase event at our Ruddock PAC in June 🎭🎶 #powerofpartnerships

Last week, some King Edward VI High School for Girls L6th & King Edward's School Divisions attended the inspirational 'Ten Talks' event at Uni of Birmingham. To listen to such high profile speakers & academics was an inspiring, humbling & thought-provoking experience. The questions posed have left a lasting impression🧠
Last month's Young Fashion Design Competition with our partner F2D ITC was superb! We welcomed 8 primaries to our Ruddock PAC, ably supported by 12 Year 10 mentors from King Edward VI Balaam Wood Academy as part of the Enquiring Minds programme. Outstanding teamwork & creativity was shown by all🧥

Our KES and KEHS Partnerships Summer School has been a blast! 🎉 16 sixth form mentors welcomed 84 children from 23 schools across Birmingham. Around 140 pupils from across the King Edward VI Foundation Birmingham participated in our inaugural Year 9 Summer School programme. They engaged in two days of challenging and inspiring activities led by teaching staff from the University of Oxford, University of Warwick, and Uni of Birmingham.🎉🌟
