High Commissioner Jane Ndurumo hosted a Multi - Agency Taskforce led by the National Treasury of Kenya. The delegation is on a working visit to the Republic of South Africa to benchmark on best practices regarding governance of Virtual Assets and Virtual Asset Service Providers.

H.E. Jane Ndurumo, Kenya’s High Commissioner to South Africa, hosted a delegation from the Independent Policing Oversight Authority (IPOA). The delegation was led by Mr. Ahmed Isaack Hassan, Chairperson of IPOA Board.

The delegation is in South Africa on a study visit aimed at strengthening the Authority’s oversight capacity. It included IPOA Board Members, Members of Parliament from the National Assembly Committee on Administration and Internal Security.

Kenya High Commission, led by Amb. Sunya Orre, Deputy Head of Mission is attending the Manufacturing Indaba 2025 at Sandton Convention Centre, Johannesburg. The conference is also attended by three MPs and Kenyan traders under the Kenya Association of Manufacturers.

The Kenya High Commission took part in the 4th World Kiswahili Language Day at UNISA, proudly showcasing Kenya’s rich culture, cuisine, and language. The event highlighted Kenya’s role in promoting Kiswahili and fostering global partnerships.

The Kenya High Commission, led by Deputy Head of Mission Amb. Sunya Orre, provided mobile consular services and held a town hall meeting with Kenyans in Kimberley, Northern Cape Province. Community members shared constructive suggestions on how the Mission can better support them
