Smoke from Annapolis County wildfires is drifting through Kings County. If you see a heavy haze or smell smoke, but don't see an obvious source, it's likely from those fires. If there is a column of smoke from a single area or obvious source, or you see flames, call 911.

Today we were called by a resident reporting smoke. We found a neighbour with this fire. Along with violating the burn ban it was not enclosed, contained banned materials, was too close to a structure & had nothing at hand to put it out, all bylaw violations. Referred to police.
