This week’s concert is dedicated to the memory of Laura Samuel, Leader of BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra & great friend of the RSNO. As we perform Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake, Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No1 & Coleridge-Taylor’s Ballade in A minor, our thoughts will be with Laura’s family & friends. 📸
This is the wonderful Black Dyke Band after our sell-out ‘Yorkshire Christmas Extravaganza’ at Sheffield City Hall yesterday. If you’re stuck for a Christmas present their JOHN RUTTER: BRASS AT CHRISTMAS album is riding high in the classical chart.
On Monday I’ll be performing my book FRED AND THE FANTASTIC TUB-TUB with the Orpheus Sinfonia at Eastbourne’s Congress Theatre at 3pm including THE SNOWMAN. Snap up a signed book afterwards as a stocking filler! 🎄 TICKETS: zebsoanes.com/events/2024/tu…
How wonderful of Father Christmas to take time from his busy schedule to present today’s family concerts at the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic and our tree was far from wooden in his magnificent conducting! 🎄 Do join us when we do it again tomorrow at 11.30am and 2.30pm! liverpoolphil.com/whats-on/all-s…
The most special Christmas experience of the past week, watching ‘Soanes’ class sing ‘Christmas is Here’ from Gaspard’s Christmas at Surrey Square School in South London — they were brilliant and it was such an honour to be there. Thank you and a very happy Christmas 🙏 ❤️
