Last Saturday, Dr Mark Bateson represented Kent Archives at #Ramsgate Tunnels' Local History Day. Displayed from our collections were early-to-mid 20th century photographs of the tunnels & vicinity, and maps of the East Kent coast from 1769. Thanks to Ramsgate Tunnels for a great day!

Yesterday, Dr Mark Bateson brought a slice of #Kent's heritage to MidKent College's Cultural Week, a student-led celebration of world culture. Our table display explored everything from the county's dialect and folk music to unusual customs and even school dinner recipes 🗣️🎼🍽️

On Tuesday, Kent Archives attended the 11th Annual Kent and Medway #ArmedForces Covenant Conference at Mid Kent College, #Maidstone. Between networking and sharing military-themed records from our collections, we enjoyed attending several of the speakers' presentations. #KMAFC25
