Happy Fun Fossil Fact Friday! The dinosaur Nigersaurus had around 500 teeth packed into a wide, grazing jaw designed to sweep up plants close to the ground. When a tooth wore down, new ones were already growing behind it, constantly replacing the old teeth.

#HiddenTreasures The Written Word This Woman's Relief Corps certificate honors Elisabeth S. Ward of Kenosha, who served as a nurse during the American Civil War. She enlisted at 26 in 1864 and cared for soldiers for 8 months before her honorable discharge in 1865.
