Happening now! "At Solidaridad West Africa, we are working with partners under the #ADPN to ensure that the project supports fish production in balance with nature, ensures inclusivity and is profitable to our smallholder farmers," says Isaac Gyamfi, Regional Director of Solidaridad West Africa.

The Eriwe fish farm village in the Ogun state of Nigeria, is one of the largest clusters of smallholder fish farmers in West Africa with about 1, 300 fish farmers who are beneficiaries of the project. The #ADPN is funded by Danida Market Development Partnerships.

"With the support these farmers have received so far under the #ADPN, the Eriwe #fish farm village has the potential to significantly contribute to the reduction in the importation of fish, which costs the country 50 billion naira annually,” said Jeroen Douglas during his visit.
