James Cameron called the Lakota nation a “hopeless” and “dead end society” Besides that statement being a blatant lie he was actually talking about his films post ‘97. All hopeless dead ends and now he’s dying at the final dead end

Please stop buying sage. Walk into any cutesy boutique or even search Amazon and you’ll find it everywhere. This popularity is causing problems and there are other options. 🧵 bit.ly/3vuxP1k

January 4 will mark the first official National Ribbon Skirt Day. It's in recognition of Isabella Kulak, who wore a ribbon skirt to a formal wear day at a Saskatchewan public school in December 2020 – where an education assistant told her it was not considered formal attire.

One of my intentions for this season is to practice presence, staying more rooted/grounded in the present moment instead of getting lost in thoughts about the past/future. I’ve found that when I’m present I feel more powerful and there’s more possibility for joy & gratitude.

In the Lakota language, the meaning of 'wo' is found in many words, showing how important action and intention are in our daily lives. 'Wo' represents the sacred movement and purpose, and it often appears at the start of verbs, turning them into sacred acts.
