TIL the largest spider in the world by diameter is the Giant huntsman spider. It's legs can reach up to 1 foot in length. While native to Asia, they're found all over the world in warm climates, including in the US in Texas, California, and Florida. This is all terrifying.

TIL The Great Barrier Reef is the largest living structure on Earth. Made up of over 2900 individual reefs, it is over 132,000 sq. miles. More than 1500 species of fishies live on the reef, along with whales, sea snakes, turtles, sharks, and spawn that also call the Reef home.

TIL the International Space Station was first launched in 1998 with the first humans to reside long term in 2000, and has been occupied continually since. It maintains an avg. altitude of 250 miles, and orbits the Earth roughly 15.5 x a day. #Science #TMYK
