The attack on Charlie Kirk is disgusting, vile, and reprehensible. In the United States of America, we must reject political violence in EVERY form.

And now that Kirk has died, he should be remembered not for what side he was on or what positions he took, but that he was killed for doing nothing more than actively and passionately participating as a citizen in a republic. RIP.

I will be the first to admit that I did not agree with Charlie Kirk on his mixing of politics and Christianity. I actually believe his methods were against the scriptures. But his belief in Christ is something I do agree with. And is far more important than his political

Left, right, center, I don’t care. The almost 250 year American experiment will be rendered worthless if we as a nation cannot have civil discourse with one another. May God have mercy on Charlie and his family

This is well said. I abhorred just about everything about Kirk’s approach, but the practice of persuading your neighbor is what we need MORE of in this country. May God have mercy on us as a nation

I actually think “I detested everything he stood for but I would die defending his right to say it” is a more important moral commitment than arguing that someone didn’t deserve to die because they had some good qualities

i have had brief moments of sympathy for this view but i just don't think it's realistic. i think it's going to only send us down the road of millions of americans viewing other americans as serious threats to their well-being. part of the reason for this response is lingering

I’m still undecided on cancel culture, though I believe any firing should be based on investors, customers, and workers, not public. I do think, though that today’s cancellations are based on worse opinions than in 2020. (Cot’d)

I'm generally persuaded by this argument; misattributing a quote is probably grounds for dismissing a journalist. But I haven't, so far, seen a single person defending the firing admit that what Kirk said was abhorrent and certainly implied what Attiah quoted. That concerns me

Can we make this happen. I guarantee I'm not a waste of your time.👇 I really need to get on a call with an expert from Auth0, Okta, WorkOS, Microsoft, Cloudflare and show you all the terrible things I'm doing with OAuth. I think you'd all learn a lot from seeing the stupid
