Yesterday Keisho Center celebrated our 16th appearance at Sakura Matsuri! Students, parents, and teachers gave a wonderful singing performance & hosted 100s of guests at our booth throughout the day. Thank you very much to everyone for a great day!

Last Saturday we celebrated another successful school year! Congratulations to the eight Keisho Center students who are graduating from high school! We are so proud of you! We wish you a safe and healthy summer and look forward to seeing everyone again in the fall.

Keisho Center will have its first day of the school year this Saturday, September 10th. Parents/Guardians, please plan on attending the Family Orientation in person in the Common Room from 9:15-10:00 on September 10th. We are looking forward to another great year!

Happy New Year! Yesterday we had our annual Mochitsuki celebration! It was fun to reconnect with many alumni families and spend time with friends, students, and teachers. Thank you to the many volunteers who worked hard to pull off another successful mochitsuki!

Yesterday we were honored to host a very special guest from the Embassy of Japan, Minister Koichi Ai. Minister Ai, thank you for your warm New Year's greeting and for joining our students and families at Keisho Center's mochitsuki!

Yesterday was the second time that Keisho Center students had the opportunity to make traditional Japanese sweets "wagashi." These two workshops by Sachiko-san were treats for both younger and older students as well as parent volunteers. Thank you, Sachiko-san!

Keisho Center made its 18th appearance at Sakura Matsuri in D.C. Congrats to all the students, parents, & staff who made the performance a big success! Special thanks to our wonderful families who helped their kids practice the songs and speeches at home. You all did a great job!
