I’m wearing orange for #NationalGunViolenceAwarenessDay. On this upcoming Tuesday, I’m introducing a motion to support Asm. Jesse Gabriel’s AB28, which would impose an 11% excise tax on the sale of new firearms and ammunition, to fund statewide gun violence prevention programs.

Yesterday was #WearOrange Day and National Gun Violence Awareness Day. In honor of this day, the County Administration Building was lit up in Orange. We wear orange to stand in the fight to end gun violence and for the victims of Gun Violence in San Diego and across America.
