On #IWD2023 it was inspirational to celebrate Margaret Gough, the 1st Irish woman to be awarded a PhD in Maths in 1931. Margaret was from Wexford originally. Her nieces Mae & Elsie joined us on the Wexford campus South East Technological University where the family also announced a generous PhD bursary
