Returning WILDLY overdue library books to a kind Omaha Public Library staff person who told me they’d settle my fine for $5 brought me back into libraries as a young adult. That was at the Swanson branch back in 2007ish? No shame in returning late books! We don’t even fine anymore! 📚

The first election in the country in a predominantly Republican district in Nebraska and the voters stood up against HATE! What a great way to start 2024. Congrats to this unfunded, grassroots effort that yielded 62% of the vote. Truly impressive and inspiring.
