Can’t believe some of the posts/tweets I’m seeing on social media from ppl I know about the #BlackLivesMattter , acting as if Ireland isn’t racist , I’m dealing with racism since I’m in primary school being called a nigger/foreigner etc. when everyone in my family is Irish apart

Imagine no rural public transport, massive insurance prices for young drivers, having a huge backlog for getting a license, no investment in mental health, no chance of housing, no future, and then acting surprised with high suicide rates for young people in rural Ireland.

As we emerge from the pandemic, the next year must be one that rebuilds community, brings people back together, and gives everyone the college experience they deserve. I believe I have the experience to ensure the SU can deliver the best possible college experience for all.
