What hurts the most is that Baylor fans will truly be devastated that he is leaving and will wish him well. Meanwhile, the toxic fan base who is welcoming him already wants his demise and doesn’t believe in him.

I don’t know who needs to hear this but Scott Drew is still the coach of the Baylor Bears. It was quite the week but in the end, we can all be full of JOY!

My bedtime reminder is more of a taunt in this season.

What we say and how we say it matters. Feeling like I am working extra hard to make sure that my words are sweet, edifying and invitational. It means typing a text takes time sometimes. And that’s ok. It means not reacting hastily when in convos. And that’s ok.

The fullness of the season has been pretty all-consuming. So today, a cup of coffee and folding laundry feel like sacred moments. Grateful for some reflection time.

Camp season is special. It is also exhausting. And on my way home tonight a worship song came on the radio that wrecked me. I wept. Worn out and uncertain about so many things, yet also so grateful to abide in Him.
