Are people really unhappy when the people they love are living well? Other peoples’ happiness should not pain us. And the belief that it should give us pain was actually held by the drama’s villain, Won Sang-a! What were people watching because it is not the same drama as I was?!

I like happy endings, and in fact, I think they have been denied to many characters who deserved them (ie queer characters in many dramas), so the Twitter demands that dramas must end in a hetero lovefest just feel like a rant against difference that is supposedly “unassailable”.
