In FS2A, we have been ordering and sequencing the events from the story of the Hungry Caterpillar. We wrote down the days of the week and drew a picture of the food that the caterpillar ate on that day!

In FS2B we have been working on speaking in a large group. We play 'would you rather' every day to support the children's confidence and broaden their vocabulary.

This week FS2D have been using the bee bots. The children have been learning how to programme instructions for the bee bot to follow. They managed to move it around the mat getting from one place to another. Super technology skills Oryx class.

FS2E have been thinking about healthy and unhealthy foods. We sorted them into different categories but also decided that we can have a little bit of all foods. Everything in moderation.

In FS2E we have some exciting news.... Our caterpillar has turned into a white butterfly! It’s very exciting! We are conscious the butterfly needs space to fly and we have released her back into the wild and she can be free.

In FS2B we have been playing 'guess what I'm feeling'. We pull a feeling face then our friends guess how we feel. We talk about times when we felt the same

This week in oryx class we have been looking at superhero’s. The children designed their own superhero character and made their cape and mask. We can all sleep safe tonight knowing that oryx class superhero’s are here to save the day!!

Twitter for today: Today in FS2 we noticed a mysterious box in our corridor. Throughout the day the children were delivered different clues to help them work out what was inside. They then wrote down their guesses...we wonder what it could BEE?!

FS2B have been buzzing with excitement as we start our new learning topic: Bees! We took some time to learn new bee yoga moves.

In FS2F we are buzzing about learning a new skill! Today we have learnt how to make a concertina using strips of paper. We have then made this into a bee by adding the different body parts. #concentrating #resilience #independence #newskills #challenge #creativity

FS2E have been enjoying a virtual reality experience using our “VR Goggles”.  We have been watching bees flying and ways how we can help bees survive.

FS2B have been learning about the importance of bees and why they need to be protected. They worked with a friend to make their own SAVE THE BEES posters to put up around the school and raise awareness.
